II-NT liquid thiokol

II-NT liquid thiokol

II-NT liquid thiokol is a sulfur-containing reactive oligomer with active end groups, curable in compositions with various fillers. Thiokol is a viscous homogeneous liquid of dark color (resin) with a brownish or greenish tint, free from foreign inclusions. Liquid thiokols (liquid polysulfide polymers) are intended for manufacture of sealing pastes that are used in the aviation industry, shipbuilding, electrical industry, radio electronics and civil engineering. They are also used as a component in composite solid propellants. In industry, thiokols are used for manufacture of special sealing pastes (thiokol mastics) for a wide range of applications. Liquid thiokols are resistant to oils, petroleum fuels, acids, alkalis, ozone, sunlight, radiation, have high gas impermeability, non-explosive, slow-burning, non-toxic. Service life is up to 25 years.
