SKT high molecular weight silicone rubbers
SKT high molecular weight synthetic rubber is a colorless, transparent substance free of mechanical impurities. Designed for manufacture of rubber products that retain elastic and dielectric properties in the temperature range from -50 to +200 °C (SKT), from -50 to +250 °C (SKTV, SKTV-1), from -70 to +200 °C (SKTE), from -70 to +250 °С (SKTFV-803), from -70 to +200 °C (SKTF). Vulcanizates based on silicone rubbers have high resistance to high and low temperatures, good electrical insulating properties, weather resistance, resistance to radiation, ozone and oxygen, hydrophobicity, chemical and biological inertness. They are used as elastic materials for special purposes in various industries and many fields of technology. Siloxane rubber materials are used for manufacture of seals, membranes, shaped parts for sealing of doors and windows, aircraft cabins, and flexible joints that can withstand very low temperatures in high altitude atmospheric layers, significant concentrations of ozone and solar radiation. Their aging resistance and dielectric performance are also quite high. The high heat resistance of rubber materials made from siloxane rubber allows them to be used also for manufacture of rubber-metal vibration isolators (shock absorbers), air duct vibration dampers, spark plug covers, searchlight seals, etc. It should also be said about implementing siloxane rubber in industrial furnaces and equipment operating at high temperatures (oil cracking towers, gas pipelines, recovery plants, etc.). Heat-resistant sleeves are produced from rubbers based on siloxane rubber. In addition, the increased cost of such rubbers pays off with their long-term performance compared to conventional rubbers. In solvents and oils, it swells, has low mechanical resistance, high gas permeability, and poorly resists abrasion.
SKT high molecular weight silicone rubbers is intended for manufacture of rubber products that retain elastic and dielectric properties in the temperature range from -50 to +200 °C (SKT), from -50 to +250 °C (SKTV, SKTV-1), from -70 to +200 °C (SKTE), from -70 to +250 °С (SKTFV-803), from -70 to +200 °C (SKTF).
