VIKSINT U-1-18 organosilicon sealant

Viksint U-1-18 two-component sealant is a silicone sealant consisting of two parts: U-1 paste and No. 18 catalyst. The paste is produced on the basis of dimethylsiloxane synthetic heat-resistant low molecular weight organosilicon rubber. Appearance: white pasty material capable to cure at ambient temperature while transitioning into a rubber-like state. A slight release of polymer during storage is acceptable, which disappears with stirring. Viksint U-1-18 sealant is designed for surface sealing of metal joints made of stainless steel, aluminum and titanium alloys and for sealing equipment operating in air environment at temperatures from -60 to +300 °C under conditions of vibration, shock and repetitive loads. U-1-18 sealant does not cause corrosion of metals and alloys, including copper. The working temperature range of U-1-18 is -60 to +300°C. To ensure adhesion of the sealant to the surfaces of parts, sublayers are used: hot drying P-90 or cold drying P-11 in combination with P-9 or with wiping paste No. 2. Sealant is resistant to adverse weather factors, radiation, ultraviolet. It has stable dielectric properties. Has high elasticity. Designed to be used in all climatic conditions.
