MAXSIL SA 1011 oil and petrol resistant automotive gasket maker is an acetic acid cure automotive silicone sealant that is a homogeneous paste-like mass. The sealant is produced on the base of low molecular weight siloxane rubber. Automotive gasket maker is designed for sealing of components and assemblies operating at elevated temperatures, for elimination of water, antifreeze, and oil leaks in detachable joints instead of cardboard, cork and rubber gaskets, as well as for sealing loose connections. It can also be used for bonding of glass, plexiglass, wood, concrete, sealing of threaded joints, fixing tiles to panels. MAXSIL SA 1011 oil and petrol resistant automotive gasket maker cures in air at room temperature, transitioning from paste-like to rubber-like state. Easily takes any shape, after hardening retains strength and elasticity. Has increased resistance to gasoline, oils, antifreeze, water. Is not subject to cracking, shrinking and flowing during temperature cycles. Ensures tight waterproof insulation. Does not have toxic properties. Working temperature range: from -50°C to +300°C (+350°C for a short time).
